Tuesday night the Spring Hill Panthers took on the Bullard Panthers in district play. The game was set to be a good game. Bullard was 5-0 in district, while Spring Hill was 4-1. Spring Hill called on Alex Brown to take the mound for the Panthers, while Bullard would go to Hagen Smith.
Both pitchers were strong on the mound. Alex Brown went six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out six. Marshall Lipsey would toss one inning for Spring Hill, allowing no hits and tallying one strike out. Bullard’s Hagen Smith would toss seven innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs, striking out 13. The Spring Hill Panthers hitters would have eight quality at-bats and draw three walks, forcing Bullard to make one errors, while stealing one bag.
The Spring Hill Panthers are now 14-5 (4-2). They will continue district play on the road Thursday traveling to Henderson to face off against the Lions. First pitch is at 7 pm.
