On Tuesday night, the Spring Hill Panthers traveled to Gilmer to face the Buckeyes. With a strong beginning, the Panthers started the first set with a 6 point lead! The Panthers kept the lead till 21 when the Buckeyes rallied back. From point 21-28 the girls fought back and fourth and left everything out on the court. The final score was 26-28 Buckeyes.
The Panthers had a slow start into the second set. Due to unforced errors and miscommunication, the Buckeyes pulled ahead fast. The ending score was 25-9.
The stat leaders for the match were Rachel PeTree and Molly Seale both with 3 kills and Annabeth Hood with 8 assists & 7 digs.
The Panthers look forward to this next week of practice to prepare for their next game which will be next Tuesday, October 2nd at home! The home game on October 2nd will be teacher appreciate night!
