Spring Hill boys’ soccer team reached another milestone by beating Henderson 2-1for the first time in its program’s history. The Panthers showed their resilience playing solid defense throughout the game. Cam Owens played the full game between the pipes recording 8 saves. Defensive standouts Braden Herman and Hunter Martin were supported by junior defender Israel Peralta and freshman Jonathan Alvarez. Efren Barcenas cameoff the bench to score 2 goals in the second half both assisted by Manuel Flores. Overall, it was a tremendous team effort. Spring Hill (9-6, 2-2 in district) will travel to Carthage on Feb. 13th at 7:00pm.
