It was a sloppy night on the floor for the Panthers, but they fought and battled the entire game to get back in it. They were down at the end of every quarter until the final buzzer sounded. Aaron Collier came up big to end the fourth quarter with an offensive rebound and put back to tie the game with 1 second remaining.
The top player of the game on the offensive end was Austin Rodgers. Austin was a consistent factor all game as he dropped in 5 rainbow three pointers, two in the final stanza. Tyrese Jones and Curtis Crowe lead the defensive effort for Spring Hill. Curtis Crowe finished with 11 points, while Tyrese and Kayden Miller added 4 points each. Aaron Collier continues to dominate on the boards and finished the night with 6 total points. Drew Bassett added two perfect free throws in the second quarter.
Spring Hill will travel to Gladewater on Friday in hopes of adding another district win. They will play on Gladewater’s Aux court at 6:00 PM.
