The Spring Hill Panthers dominated on Thursday with a 7-0 victory over the Henderson Lions.

The Panthers got things going in the top of the first when Colin Martin singled, and then Easton Ballard stepped in the box and hit a triple, scoring Martin.

Scoring went quiet until the fifth inning when Bryant King laid down a sacrifice bunt that resulted in a throwing error, scoring Brennan Ferguson and King advancing to third. Jordan Hodges would come up and single to left, scoring King.

The Panthers would extend their lead in the sixth by scoring two more. In the seventh Easton Ballard would hit a double, driving in Jax Stovall to put the Panthers up 7-0.

Easton Ballard would take the mound for Spring Hill and would deliver a gem. The lefty threw a complete game, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out 14 batters.

The Spring Hill offense would put up 8 hits on the day. Brennan Ferguson and Easton Ballard both had multiple hits, Ferguson had three hits in three at-bats. Spring Hill would have 3 stolen bases on the night.

The Spring Hill Panthers extend their record to 15-5 (5-2) on the year. The Panthers will be back in action at home on Tuesday against the Atlanta Rabbits in a non-district matchup. First pitch is at 6 pm.
