Bullard scored five runs in the sixth inning to open up a tight 6-4 lead to a comfortable 11-4 margin. Bullard’s big inning was driven by singles by Ashlyn Seaton and Payton Hancock and an error on a ball put in play by Gabby Nichols and Destinee Dixon.
Ariel Matula got the start for Bullard. She allowed six hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out five.
Sadie Sparks started the game for Spring Hill. She surrendered six runs on two hits over four innings, striking out two. Samantha Schott and Rachel Doss entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.
Spring Hill collected six hits on the day. Maddie Malloy and Schott each collected multiple hits for Spring Hill. Jayla Landrum has a solo HR for Spring Hill.
