Multiple Teams · Lady Panthers win the Eagle Relays!

The Lady Panthers traveled to New Diana in the last track meet before District and they really showed this year’s motto which is Strength in Numbers!
Coach James Hardin was very pleased, “This was the first track meet we actually had the full team, minus two hurdlers, and it was really exciting to see us this close to full strength and gaining momentum for district!”
The Lady Panthers placed top 6 in every single event!
Early in the day, the field events got SpringHill moving in the winning direction
with big jumps from Kayla Crowe, Destiny Edwards, and Jayla Landrum going 3rd, 4th, 5th in the longjump,
Madison Vaughn placing 2nd in the HighJump,
Reagan Barnhill and Emily Cook placing 4th and 5th in the Polevault,
and once again a big showing in the throwing events with Liz Whitwell and Kaitlyn Morris getting 1st and 2nd in the shot put,
and Hannah Methvin, and the Barnhill sister placing 3rd 4th and 5th in the Discus!
Bringing some serious momentum into the running events.
The two Sprint Relays both consisting of Destiny Edwards, Allison Hicks, Arrington Melton, and Kayla Crowe placed 2nd in both events.
Add Jayla Landrum to that Sprint Squad and they scored 18 total points in the 100 and 200Meter dash!
Marissa Seyer, Lexi Jones, Teriny Skogan and Caroline Deason added 25points from the mid to distance races.
Brittney Fritz, Kaylee Foster, and Reagan Barnhill added 12 points to the team total in the Hurdle races.
Avery Barnhill won the 400meter dash.
Then joined Seyer, Skogan, and Foster to finish the day placing 3rd in the mile relay!
What a day for these young ladies as they show-cased the depth and hard work they have been putting in all year.
The next Track Meet will be the District Track meet in Bullard on April 11th & 12th.
